Hi, I am Eric from Workday, and we are considering using Pants for our Python monorepo. We had explored Bazel in the past, but found it was not well-optimized for Python and building Docker images, and I happened across Pants while researching other build systems. Thanks all for offering Pants as a great open-source option!

cc @curved-television-6568 with Docker support! He's been adding that to Pants 2.7. https://www.pantsbuild.org/v2.7/docs/docker (Feedback definitely appreciated on it, e.g. if there are more features you'd like. It's still experimental)

That's terrific! Your timing couldn't be better for getting to shape the future of Docker support, which will be officially released shortly (thank you, @curved-television-6568). Pants does indeed have first-class Python support; that was a key priority. It also has a community that is committed to keeping Pants 2 responsive to a wide range of use cases and breadth of companies. So feedback, suggestions, feature requests, docs contributions, and PRs are all very welcome. Cheers!
