I'm a software engineer at NI, and a maker by night. I'm actually investigating into Pex as a way to improve our build infrastructure with versioned, portable python environments (er, executables ☺️)

Ooh, what are you a maker of? I run a slack for techies who craft, so love to hear what folks like to build in addition to software.

Websites, RasPi projects, wood-working - basically if I see or have a problem that I can fix (or with reasonable learning can fix), I go for it.

Ah - yes, although if you scroll long enough on that you'll see that I bumped to using a rpi-0w and dropped the home-brew ntp server 😄
