Hey, I'm an Architect at a cyber security company looking at Pants for our machine learning project in python. Also interested in future JavaScript support. Found the project listening to the Semaphore Uncut podcast episode Monorepo and Building at Scale with @happy-kitchen-89482

Cool! Other security and datascience orgs are using Pants as well, so hopefully it will prove to be a good fit for yours as well. Please do let us know where it's not yet optimal for your use case. The team is very appreciative of feedback, and is committed to making Pants the modern build system that's specifically designed to meet a wide range of use cases.
Any specifics re your interest in JS support? We're looking for an organization to partner with, that can help spec out what JS support means and how to bring meaningful value to that ecosystem.

For our web applications we use Typescript with react, react-native, and AWS Lambda. Most of which is actually using CDK for deployments today to great success. As we build a design system and continue to manage a growing number of repositories I'd like to see us move to a monorepo for our customer platform.

Ah, so part of your evaluation is also whether/how to move from polyrepo to monorepo arch...? (fwiw, that's a really common scenario.) If you've got questions or challenges related to architecture migration issues, we're happy to help with that here as well. My employer, Toolchain, is lead sponsor of Pants and offers enterprise consulting services on both these issues if you encounter needs that go beyond what you're comfortable asking of the open source community. We encourage everyone to make liberal use of our free in-depth community support. But we're here for private paid support if you need it.
