I'm adding a new feature, similar to
http_source
and I want to test downloading a zip and a file (to execute). For portability it'd be good if the file had a lifetime guarantee, and was cross-platform. How would y'all feel about a new Pantsbuild repository housing some test files? I can point to individual files through the
raw
permalink, and I can also download a
zip
of the repo, pinned to commit ID. That ticks all the boxes

CC @witty-crayon-22786 or @happy-kitchen-89482 who I assume have "make a new repo" permissions
Alternatively I can use a gist, but those are tied to users and not orgs. So not a great longterm-strategy IMO

There is also a test fixture that will host a file. Or does it need to be large...?
