hey folks: thoughts on doing another `alpha` release for `2.15.x`, vs doing an `rc`?

a few potentially unstable things landed during this alpha… <@U051221NF>’s `export` change, and <@U02Q3KHC59B>’s `pylint` symlinking change come to mind

depending on how well those have been validated, we could go straight to an `rc`, perhaps.

either way: let’s cut something tomorrow probably.

I'm just sad my symlink and immut paths won't be in 2.15 :slightly_smiling_face:

But really stoked for `fix` and targetless fmt/fix :slightly_smiling_face:
