There's 2.24.0rc2 release that failed while publishing/announcing (due to issues fixed by https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/pull/21867). It's hanging around at the top of https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/releases , for those with permission to see draft releases. It has all the artifacts, so I think we might as well publish it (rather than delete it, and leave a unexplained gap in the tags). I'll edit the description with a brief explanation and publish it. (We've had 2.24.0rc3 etc. successfully published/announced in the 2.24.x series since then, so this shouldn't affect anyone.)
