Hey Stu, I'm working with a team of 5 at a startup, we've been using Poetry to manage our libraries, but we've grown to about a dozen packages and have been spending a lot of time debugging dependency issues. I was interested in Bazel primarily because I contributed to it here and there when I worked at Google. I was setting Bazel up for our repo when I came across this blog post about Pants: https://developer.ibm.com/blogs/case-study-incrementally-migrating-a-python-monorepo-from-bazel-to-pants/ I set up Bazel in one branch and Pants in another and it seems so far that Pants is better suited for a team/repo our size, though I've come across a few things so far that I haven't been able to configure that I'd like to -- what's the best way to get help on these issues?

Hi @melodic-knife-23027 - welcome! Asking questions on #general is a good way to get help! Assuming you can't find what you need on https://www.pantsbuild.org/ of course...

Hello hello! Appreciate the welcome message! I’m starting a new large ML/data project, mostly in Python, within a telco with a small team. I have a background in ML/DL systems engineering for microservices and I am very aware of constant dependency issues when building software and deploying models. I stumbled upon pants to hopefully assist with the cumbersome dependency hell that any data science team finds itself in very often. Will reach out with concrete problems when they arise. If anyone here is in the same boat, maybe not telco, but data science and ML/DL, don’t be shy to reach out.
