I'm working on upstreaming a docker backend feature we've been using at work for quite some time.. https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/pull/20382 🎣 for a reviewer.. Got a comment from @gorgeous-winter-99296 comparing with a similar feature from his OCI plugin (thanks!) I think it's perfectly fine if they don't align perfectly however, fulfilling slightly different uses perhaps.. either way I'd like to get the discussion going and/or approval to move forward 🙂
