As what I have in that draft so far, I was hoping that simply use

enable_codegen=True

… aaahhhh, ok, now perhaps it finally dawned on me, ok, give me a minute to digest pun not intended for a while.. 🙂 (or rather, I should go to bed, and continue this at a later time…)
