Hi, my touchpoint with pants is the pex project, which was recommended to me on the discuss.python forums, and which I also encountered when reading up on PEP 441. When I ran into an issue and started asking questions on pex's github, John Sirois was so nice to direct me to this slack and help me troubleshoot my problem. I work for a small fintec corporation based in Germany, where we mainly use python to improve on existing prediction models and in devops. I work there as a data science engineer, with one of my main foci being the maintenance of our python-ecosystem.
