Hey @happy-kitchen-89482 and everyone, Feras here. Founding member at Fielder, and currently working on migrating our stack to a monorepo. We want to improve our team's productivity, system type safety, and make it easier to bootstrap new environments quickly. We have +10 repos of django and rust and microservices and was exploring pants as it seems the most python friendly build system out there. We also want to explore brining our flutter repos into the mix! We had some hurdles figuring out django and google SDKs dependencies as they rely a lot on string imports and non standard package names. We are slowly migrating service by service and figuring out stuff, will be there soon!

Is this tutorial useful for you by any chance? Djangocon Europe 2021, "Managing Multiple Django Services in a Single Repo" June 3, 2021

Absolutely, watched the whole video and it helped a lot, but still not 100% applicable to our stack as we have different repo structure and didn't want to follow exactly the same services-apps structure mentioned here.

Do feel free in general to ask questions here. We don't expect you to bang your head against a wall, trying to figure it out alone. Please do bring your questions, ideas, feedback, etc and know that we learn from it too. We can't anticipate every use case in advance, so hearing about real world needs is fascinating and can lead to new insights about how to more broadly serve users needs!

Was reading and digesting how pants work over the past week, so far so good, will definitely bring my problems here as we are still not done with the migration! Thanks Carina

My pleasure!
