Hi, I am software developer working on the InvenioRDM open source project (https://inveniosoftware.org/products/rdm/). I want to look into monorepo support to simplify the development. Initially Python (and Docker), but ideally expanding to JavaScript/Typescript used for the Frontend.

Nice! @proud-dentist-22844 is close to finishing up integrating Pants into Substack open source project. We don't yet have JS/TS support but would really like to. Our biggest challenge is insufficient familiarity with that ecosystem. We need a development partner willing to help us figure out a design spec that would unique bring value to that ecosystem and stand out in a space that's already crowded with excellent build systems. Unfortunately my project partners and myself have experience with JS/TS, but no particular experience with JS build systems. I’m just now starting out with Turborepo with a related project, but come from the Python side of things. The JS is React and Next.js, and we have the typical scenario of a Python flask app with Python API and React Frontend with lots of packages in PyPi and NPM.

Yeah, a lot of people are in a similar place. 🙂
