@witty-crayon-22786 i actually think i didn't make it as far as you, because if you're getting to a compile error in a grpc-rs submodule on that revision cargo would probably have had to fetch submodules before compilation (?). it's still fetching now after i cleaned, i'll let you know what that becomes
