Can I check my understanding of how objects are shared across the python-rust boundary? I think what happens is that the python side can call a magic cffi function to get a pointer it can share, and the rust side is handed a python extern which it can hand a pointer to, from which the python will copy the data into a new object it can keep track of… Is that about right?
