i also feel like if

products_request()

is already used there needs to be a separate method for requesting just a single product because i totally thought

product_request()

was just doing one request while

products_request()

did multiple -- i feel like making a request for just one instance of a product is going to be more common than requesting multiple at once? not sure how to name it, and yes the docstring can make it clear, but if i'm searching scheduler.py to find out how to get just one product it might not be clear from the naming.
