if i didn't make it clear, a 1 second increase is exactly what i expected. i split the "completed" glob set by "source glob" so it's basically traversing pathglobs (including fs calls) it already has traversed which resulted from different initial source globs. the plan is to share that "completed" set across all expansions as it is now, but i didn't know if this would be necessary and wanted to have a baseline before going deeper
