i guess i feel like opening an avenue to saying "this rule/subgraph does ~this kind of work" in any kind of structured way (even if it's for nothing but documentation) would be neat because we'd then see what kind of abstract labels are useful for applying to rules just in the sense of differentiating the kind of work they do to other developers. we have workunit labels right now which might be applicable as a model
