https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/projects/14 drew up a few tickets for rust support in pants, initial goal being to be able to just build rust binaries with pants (so they can be used in our internal CI), then figuring out how to most naturally upgrade it to full-fledged support, including building pants rust with rust.
