yes, i would love to have pants install it automatically but for now i think relying on a local install is a good solution

Upon thinking more about this, I don’t think we want this. Installing Docker is pretty heavy weight and it could be surprising to a user for Pants to do this automatically. Instead, I think we would want to error eagerly with a nice message on “Docker is not installed or discoverable. Do x to install Docker, then run again.”

when i say install it automatically i was referring to similarly to our other binary tools, without interfering with other programs on the user's system
