are we likely to make breaking changes to it? Even if not, do you want to retain the ability to do so without any concern of breaking plugin authors?

Let's not document it yet. I want to give it a nice shine before we do :grin:

And I still want to find an appreciable way to typecheck the properties, since that's half the motivation of the xhange
