I think I’ve got a good working implementation of the

experimental-deploy

goal for the Helm backend in this PR: https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/pull/15882. I know it looks like quite a lot of changes (I made some refactoring which probably should have been done separately) but the ideas of the design document I submitted are implemented there. Whenever you can, please give it a review and let me know if this looks like a sound implementation. No rush.

no worries, I was in fact polishing the implementation until today, also added a new doc explaining how to use the feature
