I only use 4 pieces of software 99% of the time: Chrome, IntelliJ, Slack and Terminal. So maybe I should save a thousand bucks and get a high end linux laptop. The Dell XPS 13 comes with Ubuntu 16.04 preinstalled, which means you don't spend a week messing around with drivers and still failing to get the webcam to work.
