Random personal feedback. After working on the Pants code base over the past year, I’ve grown as developer such that today after having pair programmed with a peer during a hackathon I got a question at the end of the day: “wow, did you dumb down the coding, to accommodate me? it was so much easier to understand what was going on [than what it used to be]“. That is, before I tend to write code that was harder to understand while now I’m more structured and the code is easier to follow, all thanks to the inspiration and experience I’ve gained while working on the Pants project. 🚀 👖 So, that’s another huge win for me personally, as well as for my employer as I now produce more maintainable code. 💰 😎 So, Pants team, take credit and thanks for all the inspiration! ❤️ (and I’m not done, still learning…)

Yeah, seriously, the inspiration and improvement go both ways. Pants is demonstrably better because of your vision, thoughtfulness, and skill. I'm thrilled that you and your employer are benefitting so clearly from the time you've put into the project. Open source contributing should always be that much win-win. ❤️
