The Mac stadium logo isn’t the best in dark mode, heh 😛

Toolchain loses half our logo in dark mode too. It must be quite a challenge for designers to have to make something that fits all of the other preexisting needs and then now also must work equally well on light and dark backgrounds. That is hard.

even if it doesn’t blend in as good I think using a transparent background is the main source of the issue, as then you’re no longer in control of the contrast with the foreground. To ease that somewhat you could add a bleed area around your logo with a gradient transparency to kind of ease over to your background from whatever it is placed in 😉
