We work so hard to put out the message that Pants 2 is community-driven, community-owned, wholly independent of Twitter in every possible way, and then there's Copilot doing drive-by undo on years of effort. Arghhhh..

I love that there are several members of the Python community who voluntarily rejected the "for life" part of that and decided to go focus on having their actual life get priority over their public life. Such great role modeling.
Python is a great community in major part because it's been led by people who prioritize thoughtfulness, reflection, and self-care. I feel like Pants community has benefitted a lot from inheriting Python community ethos.
