awesome!! i made another ticket from an issue we saw internally which might motivate a canonical remote buildcache impl: https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/issues/6794 (just as another reason this would be useful). i was going to ask if you have working code (even working badly) if you could open source it to give us something to work off of, but i realized (1) twitter has an implementation internally that we could also open source (2) it might be easier if written as part of the pants codebase from the start (so the client and backend could share logic about GETs and PUTs and whatnot). but any thoughts on that ticket would be lovely as well -- thanks for taking the time to talk with me!
