hi, do you know if anybody uses pants to build jvm projects using aspectj ?

Not that I'm aware of. There has never been a mailing list or slack query about this at any rate.

AspectJ is technically a dark corner of even the java ecosystem! I haven't heard that mentioned in ... roughly 15 years!

well it's some legacy code that uses spring transaction, hence aspectj … The worst part is that we already have a plan to remove it but first we want to finish our pants migration
