I am onboard fixing and pursuing a standardize set for python lint. My only concerns would be the option to choose either options initially and things like support for blacklisting. Large monorepos like the one we have at Twitter would need quite some time to adopt drastic changes like this

Personally, I’ve been a fan of Black since learning of it. And have thought about trying it out with Pants, but haven’t had time myself to experiment with it
