Would the pants project be interested in hosting a pre-commit hooks repo? I made one for myself, but seems like the community would find it useful: https://github.com/rcuza/pants-pre-commit-hooks

i think that it would almost certainly be a good idea to have examples at least, although i expect some variation… for example, some repos also run 
typecheck
, or would want the UI

TIL one can use

Which seems very monorepo friendly.
I am testing that right now with the simple example I have in my rcuza/pants-pre-commit-hooks repo and it seems to work great.
I could write up a page for the docs. Would that be helpful?
