I'd like to move this along github.com/pantsbuild/pants/pull/23477 @fast-nail-55400 has gracefully helped me get all pre-requisites in, but now I'd like to forge ahead. I have work to continue with post free-threaded, but at this point all further performance enhancements I have planned more or less hinges on it. I know finding the time can be difficult, but I also feel some obligation to deliver on this due to user engagement.

No objection from me. The change is a major choice so I just want to see no objection / concurrence from a few others especially around user story before I approve.
