I can take a look at the JS one - 8k PR is a choice though Needs some work, definitely not commitable as-is

I just reviewed the go one. Nice and straightforward. I approved, but left some questions about other places that might need the same treatment.

Yeah, I saw, thanks. I'm trying to get some of the other JS packages updated and cleaned up before we start adding more to it. I also feel like there is probably a simpler way to do it all, since all we're doing is dropping in a different npm package vs some equivalents
