Is there an elegant way to clear the cache? I'm preparing a demo and just showing a cache hit is boring. I want to show the cache miss and full build, followed by the cache hit. I've just been using rm, but I'm never sure exactly on what needs to be deleted.

There isn't currently simple tooling for introspecting or manipulating https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/issues/11167 There are (many!) caches, in play: • If for the purposes of the demo you want to show the cache hit/miss for unit tests, that would be
~/.cache/pants/lmdb_store/
(For a demo: you could also invalidate by changing one file and showing that only the deps of that file are cache missies) • "named" caches are ones for various tools that have their own existing caching system. • "REPI" caches are ~roughly like a remote version of the lmdb store
