Related to the macOS support discussion in the monthly meeting: SJ noticed that GitHub's macOS runners are changing: the x86-64 github-hosted runners stop being free. See https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/issues/22479 (and my big comment). We'll need to make a plan soon to have enough lead-time to communicate to users (if we're deprecating/removing support) and/or apply to all relevant branches.
