If we're using a remote caching service, should we still save the pants bootstrap and named caches in our ci pipelines? The docs on the matter can be read as "if you're using a remote caching service, you don't need to cache the lmdb store but the other two should still be cached through ci caching" or "a remote caching service entirely replaces ci based caching"

Yes sounds about right, you don't want to cache lmdb because it will be remote, but named will cache pants deps themselves so it makes sense to cache that on CI
