One challenging scenario for us to debug is inspecting the results of intermediate process executions. This is especially true when dealing with remote (CI) runners. We have bazel-remote setup and a custom workunit logger but currently there are two pieces of critical missing metadata. 1. The output digest from process executions 2. The action cache digest prior to processes execution Describe the solution you'd like Both of these digests should be included in the workunit metadata so we can look them up in bazel-remote. Additional context I believe the output digest fingerprint can be added here in execute_process.rs I haven't looked up the action cache one yet, but think it should be added to the
