Hi Everyone. I work at Pinterest as a software engineer. I am based in San Francisco Bay area. We run python application in Ubuntu18, Ubuntu 20 and 24 (x86 and aarch64) hosts. I am working on to create pex for python application so that we can run the same pex file in different hosts and also we don't have to install the dependencies in all hosts. Recently we have started using pantsbuild for generating pex files. I am facing some challenges when I try to add a third party library dependency in pex. I am discussing it here. I am looking forward to learn more about pantsbuild.
