Hey everyone, I've been "blessed" with the ownership of the following: • Our company was a poly repo nightmare • We shifted to a monorepo (still migrating folks over) • We chose Bazel (we have a lot of xooglers) • Bazel led us to a third party to help build out CI tooling for it ◦ Nice folks, but it's a lot • I want to use pants.. • We're polyglot ◦ Used to support Node, Python, Go, Docker, Helm, k8s, sql migrations ◦ Don't need to support node anymore ❤️ • some other stuff I'm probably forgetting I know I could search, but my first ask is that if there's anyone here that's felt the pain of Bazel, and found solace in moving to the promised land of Pants2 that can give me some help... it would be super appreciated.

Sounds like you're not alone... 🙂 Some of the relative benefit vs other tools may depend on how much Python you have. I think it's fair to say that Python support is where Pants is head and shoulders above the competition.
If you'd mentioned JVM I think it would be a closer run thing
Do feel free to reach out with specific questions on #general, and also, if this is of interest, there are some folks on here who do Pants consulting, including getting teams to adoption
That's probably not where you'd want to start, but it is available
