Hi Stu (and everyone)! I'm part of a team that builds tooling on top of
pants
for our new monorepo setup. Here for sharing ideas and expansions that we've found have greatly improved our overall engineering team, or for continuing to learn the best practices around how to use and extend
pants
!

Our organization also already uses a monorepo with pants build. I'm a colleague of @flaky-artist-57016 who pointed me to this community as an active place for collaboration. It's helped us in a few situations already Glad to be here, thanks for the welcome

Hello 👋 ! I’m part of a team to evaluate pants as the build tool for our Python/Go monorepo setup at our org. Currently we have a bunch of apps written in python and go, which reside in different repositories, so now we’re trying to bring everything together to consolidate tooling & make the dev experience easier. Heard about pants from this blog post https://earthly.dev/blog/pants-python-monorepo/ and got inspired to try it out. Thanks for the welcome!

@incalculable-iron-64832, out of curiosity, what kind of tooling are you building on top of Pants? Anything that might be usefully upstreamed? 🙂
