Could use more feedback on Make local env vars available in non-local environments . Andreas suggested slack could be good for back-and-forth. There's a blunt impl in a PR but it needs to be more constrained. Made some slides to draw things out and added pants-devel as editors (don't know if it works) if it helps you more quickly get oriented. More in thread.
