Hi @happy-kitchen-89482 and all 👋 I am a Berlin based SWE and I have recently joined a company where we agreed to move to a mono-repo. While I have gathered quite some experience with Bazel I wanted to use this green-field opportunity to test out Pants since it seems to have better Python support - the main lang at our work - and overall takes a more developer friendly approach to moving to a mono-repository (linting, docker support, etc.). So far it is looking very good and I am glad to see that this Slack is very active in supporting each other with issues.

Hi all and thanks for the welcome! I am a Data/ML/Cloud engineer tasked with bootstrapping a data platform with the current focus being on data ingestion. We first started off with a single repo approach which quickly became annoying to work with and hard to test. After doing some research we decided to switch to a mono repo setup using pants because of its python support and low entry barrier. So far we are really happy about the new setup. We are using mainly the pex_binary and docker targets as well as testing, linting and formatting.
