So, GitHub Actions apparently uses the version of the action for PR closed events from the PR branch? :disappointed:

I suspect this is coming from a setting.

Can anyone poke around and confirm?

i _think_ that i saw that setting yesterday, but couldn’t find it when i looked again last night

What a completely powerful yet fucked ecosytem.

hm. to be honest though, that default _kind of_ makes sense… usually you want to see changes that you’ve made to workflows show up immediately

it should probably “use whichever is newer”, but… yea.

now that these jobs have stabilized, it’s probably ok to leave it on the default
