I think the CI failures on ^^ are exposing that our tests are currently silently failing, rather than that my change is bad. So that’s fun.

The failing CI is failing on a portion of the code it didn't care about; ie import statement working was all that mattered. Bad test, but ship is ok - suggested an edit to turn it into a good test.
