hi all, after some time spent on the topic started in the following thread: https://pantsbuild.slack.com/archives/C01CQHVDMMW/p1650368030137239 I have managed to get something that works and which I think it would be a great addition. However the design and implementation are not trivial so I was thinking of submitting some sort of design document so people could chime in. Do you have a standard way to go about those things or shall I post it as the body of a Github issue?

There's a shared google docs folder we use for design docs. Not sure how it works with permissions etc however..

I thought that would be the case as I saw other docs. It perms could be an issue I don’t mind submitting it other formats 😅

This is a new process for us. I believe you can make your google doc privately and find a maintainer willing to champion it in the folder and work with you for edits
