! … if you don’t think that you’ll have time to do it, please let one of us know.
w

Hey Yi, could you please mention in the email that https://pants.readme.io/v1.30/docs/release-notes-1-30 has docs on how to try out the new dependency inference feature? For example, rather than this:
See here for a summary of the 1.28.x series and a link to a more detailed changelog.
Something like this:
See here for a summary of the 1.28.x series and a link to a more detailed changelog, along with a guide on how to try out the new (experimental) dependency inference feature for Python.
Also fyi the release docs moved to https://pants.readme.io/docs/release-process and were updated. (Rc0 should be much easier to do than it was previously, as dev0 now does most of the work)

https://pants.readme.io/docs/release-process#dev0---set-up-the-new-page doesn’t look like i need it today, but shall I get creds to edit dash.readme.io/project/pants for future use?
h
Yeah you don’t need that step, but it would be great to be an admin so that you can make edits! What email would you like for the invite?
w
h
Invited 🙂 to make edits, go to https://dash.readme.io/project/pants/v1.30/docs/welcome-to-pants The only major gotcha is to be careful which version you’re editing, which you can see in the top left corner. The default is 1.29 right now. If you’re editing 1.29, make sure to also update 1.30 because we will fork 1.31 from 1.30
