I think we probably want to wait on per-tool lockfiles for 2.6.x, too big of a change to try to get in now
Only other feature I can think of is Poetry support from @steep-breakfast-98857, which it sounds like could be finished in next couple days. Is that something we could cherry-pick into a 2.5.0 rc? (Note it's before a stable release)

05/04/2021, 5:50 PMYeah; pretty much just 2 things left for this...had an error with git/URL conversion that wasn’t PEP508/440 compliant when I thought it was, and there’s an “extended form” for longer specification of markers etc that I didn’t realize was an option.
