all I’m saying is this: pypy is not cpython and has its own set of baggage that comes with formal adoption. we should understand what those tradeoffs are if we decide to restrict pants to a pypy-compatible future and furthermore determine if they can be achieved without it such that we could otherwise continue down a vanilla cpython support track.
