Yeah - David Taylor added support for setuptools entrypoints -> register.py and then I did some work most recently to 1. publish our plugins with those entrypoints defined, 2. resolve the plugins using the rules you have setup for python repos and indexes, 3. leverage all this in pantsbuild.github.io/setup
