I'm busy excluding jars and running

./pants compile foo --resolve-ivy-open

to squash this problem. I have an open issue that I have half a mind to set Garrett on sooner rather than later that would keep this from happening again. Or at least make it work right more easily. https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/issues/2199
