Anyone know why pex uses path info in the PEX_INFO file within the pex if it exists… currently it will even use absolute paths. Was this an intentional design? For context the reason I ask is that I’m currently setting pex_info to prevent pants from using ~/.pex but pex_info carries that path into the actual file not just at runtime so using an absolute path causes problems.
