I can understand that too - but I didn't delete the ini file - I just layered another override on top, and one that didn't explicitly change any scrooge settings at all. Anyway - I don't care enough to dig any further into it. The patch was adding a

cache_read=False

bit to tests that needed it - maybe 5-6 that I know about after that Travis run. But I am happy to drop it and accept it as the way of life.
